To me, Electronically Assisted Astronomy (EAA) is all about presenting telescopic images in near-real time, using a camera connected to a laptop with a large screen. EAA fits in the middle between true astrophotography and traditional eyepiece observing. EAA is especially attractive to people who attend outreach events such as star parties. Here, groups of people can safely view the same projected image at the same time while I talk about them. I really enjoy working with computers and telescopes, and my teaching background allows me to reach out to others who are just getting into astronomy.
