******** SAS Members ******** Due to some inclement weather expected to roll into the Tully area on Friday, Our Public Observing scheduled for Friday, April 2 has been cancelled.
*** SAS Members *** We have our pick of what appears to be a string of several nice nights beginning on Friday, 3/19. The best of them seems to be Saturday night, 3/20. It should be clear and around 40 degrees at sunset, so we’re going to hold our Moon, Mars & more” event to Saturday, 3/20. Hope to see you there!
Well, I think our first session of 2021 was a success! We had a pretty good turnout for a cold March night. Eight people attended. Skies were crystal clear until about 9:30 when clouds rolled is from the Northwest. It was in the low 30’s, but no wind so it wasn’t too bad. We had heat in the map room and plenty of coffee and hot chocolate to keep us warm.
