Greetings fellow astrophiles, As a few calls and emails have come in – the December 10 Lunar Eclipse will not be visible from the East Coast and will, in fact, only be somewhat visible to early-morning risers on the West Coast. The forecast calls for considerable cloud cover as well on the evening of December 9th, so we will also not host a still-can’t-see-the-eclipse nighttime lunar observing session.
